Southern Academy of Periodontology

Since our formation in 1920, the Southern Academy has played an integral part in the progression of our specialty. Representing the ten states of the Southeast, we are considered to be one of the premier periodontal regional societies in the country. Our leaders carry a strong voice within the American Academy of Periodontology. The society plays an important role in the continuing evolution of the practice of periodontics.
